Went to a mosque yesterday with my Muslim friends
Originally I went for the free food since it’s Ramadan the Muslim holiday when they fast from sunrise to sunset. Itwas an eye-opening experience, though. Everyone was pretty nice and courteous. I like the architecture and general atmosphere in there (I’m into Middle Eastern stuff). Had an interesting conversation about religion and such. Heh.
If there’s anything i learned yesterday prolly it’s the fact that Viet Catholic churches suck when it comes to services. Typically 2-hour long with so much praying + gentle extortion via “donation baskets” that are passed around during mass LOL.
